About the Business
Twin Tigers Martial Arts is run by Master Richard Smith and his wife Lisa Smith, it has a strong emphasis on personal development of students and has a strong family feeling to the school. Alongside the regular lessons, other social activities are common such as parties, sleepovers and paintballing excursions. The facilities and available equipment is part of what makes Twin Tigers stand out from other martial arts schools but in the main it is the staff and instructors and the feeling of the existing students who train.
Chief Instructor Master Richard Smith has been involved in martial arts for many years and holds a 6th Dan Black Belt in WTF Taekwondo, he also holds 4th Dan Black Belt in Kickboxing. He is a respected and established instructor and has experience of teaching all age groups and abilities. Along with his main arts Master Smith has worked with other styles and instructors which are often brought into play when teaching self defence and control restraint techniques.
