About the Business
Chikara Martial Arts has successfully held lots of charity events, Gym shows and seminars. Seminars held by BJJ instructors Darren and Helen Currie, Chris Haueter UFC fighters Danny Mitchell and Ross Pearson. Gaining a Full Contact British Kickboxing Champion Title amongst many other wins, he trained at 'The Still' Kickboxing club at Lincoln alongside EIGHT other British and World Title holders under the guidance of Jack Boas and the late Jez Hall. Titleholders such as Trevor 'TNT' Tacy 2 X World Champion, Intercontinental, European, Commonwealth, and British Champion.
The club was one of the top clubs in the world with world-class fighters. Gyms like this are few and far between. It was a fighting gym based on styles from the Dutchman Jack Boas, who learned his talents alongside Ernesto Hooste in Holland. Rob has brought his years of experience and talent to teach Martial Arts here at Chikara.
