About the Business
The Way of Heaven & Earth, or Tiandidao in Romanised Chinese, is a school of traditional skills "Arts" (we use Capital 'A' as each skill is an Art form, no less than mastering painting, sculpture or anything else).
There are many schools of Martial Arts, most about basic fighting techniques. Tiandidao is different. Technically we are not a "Martial arts" school, we are a Taoist Arts school - school meaning that we have a syllabus and cover related subjects. If you want to study something different, something that transforms your body from the inside out, then you are in the right place.
As a beginner you will learn the basics needed, these are basic stances, "blocks" or deflections, then "counters". Each step of training is explained and then corrected where needed to make for gentle but steady progress. Everyone is equal in terms of ability and where you find something difficult to do or understand, we will try to help you achieve it or explain it a different way.
