Tang Soo Do is a Korean Martial Art that the whole family can enjoy together. From the very first lesson, you will learn Self-defence that works and will keep you and your family safe! We are a friendly club and train in a safe environment. Beginners are always welcome and there is no pressure to join. Please feel free to contact us for any questions you may have.
Hyung, Kata, Poomse etc are combinations of self-defence moves put together in a pre-arranged pattern. There are forms in nearly every Martial art and knowing the moves, are really just not enough! The student and teacher should know what the combat applications are and how they are applied. If you only knowthe moves on their own, then what's the point! Forms are a great way of training, especially when you do not have a training partner.
