About the Business

Malvern Karate Club is a Shotokan based Karate Club which has various locations within the Huyton and Dovecot areas. We are associated to the Karate Union of Great Britain (KUGB) which is the Largest single Style organisation which was Established by Sensei Enoeda in 1966.

Established over 35 years ago by Sensei Tommy Till 3rd Dan. Malvern has grown into one of the most successful clubs within the KUGB. With a number of our members who train, grade and compete regularly, winning many titles along the way. The highlight in 2013 being that four of our members were selected to compete in the WSKA World Championships in Liverpool. The club was passed over to Chris Cray in 2009 and continues develop and maintain the high standards that were set by Tommy.

Malvern has two types of classes. We have our 7 year old + class which runs 4 times per week under Chris Cray, 2nd Dan & the 4 - 6 year old class which was introduced in March 2013 to help develop younger children in Karate.
