About the Business
Our aim is build physical as well as mental skills and conflict management skills using the Aikido art. Hizashikan Coventry Aikido club is a not-for-profit Aikido club focused on studying and improving our skills in Aikido; We only ask that students contribute to the periodic improvements required to maintain a quality training facility. We are a very small club, training twice a week. We have had students of all ages, some experienced with other martial arts, and some with no experience at all.
The Aikido we practice is a combination of Aikikai and Takemesu Aiki Bukikai to include more weapons training, however the lesson always start with intermediate to intensive physical warm up, this also benefits us physically and mentally, nothing like a great work out.
