No previous knowledge, skill or ability needed for the study of Ninjutsu. We welcome new beginners to all our classes, we welcome all martial artists and other Ninjutsu practitioners from allorganizations to get in touch to share knowledge and help each other achieve more, that's what its about in the end, helping each other not hindering each other. Part of Ninjutsu is to attain "jihi no kokoro" (a benevolent heart) or "kajo-waraku" (a strong compassionate heart).
Starting any new Martial Art can be an exciting time, The thought of doing Martial Art techniques like Steven Seagal, Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee or Chuck Norris, making lots of heads turn, when people saythings like "Wow! Did You See That"?! seems a very inviting thought. However with any new Martial Art, it can also mean a bit of doubt and uncertainty. You have to treat your Martial Art like a full-fledged job and not just an on the side hobby.

Burton Kickboxing Academy (BKA) is a Kickboxing club based in the centre of Burton on Trent. BKA founder and chief instructor Chris Squirrell is a World and European amateur champion. All instructorsare CRB checked and first aid trained. Our members are both male and female and range from 4 to 64 years of age. We cater for all abilities and encourage our members to improve their fitness as well as their kickboxing skills.

As members of the Cobra Martial Arts Association Uttoxeter Kickboxing are affiliated to the World Kickboxing Council. All of our instructors have undertaken training via Cobra's Martial Arts TrainingProgramme, all club instructors are fully insured, in addition all Level 1 instructors are DBS checked and have received First for Sport first aid training, all assistants over the age of 16 are DBS checked.
I started training in Karate with childhood friend and fellow coach Matt, and then at the age of 14 we started doing Ninjitsu. During this time we discovered the UFC via video. This led me to searchfor somewhere to train this no holds barred style while at University in Leicester in 1999. Unlike a lot of early MMA enthusiasts, it wasn't Jiu-Jitsu that I was looking for but Wrestling.

Aikido is a modern, non-violent, non-competitive Japanese martial art which was developed early in the century by Morihei Ueshiba (1883-1969). In Japanese, Aikido means "the way of harmony with theforce and principle of nature". Aikido is derived from Japan's traditional Budo (the way of martial arts), yet goes beyond the realm of Budo; it is a path where martial arts are used as a way of spiritual growth.
Beginners wishing to try Judo can join in at any time, we have some Judo suits that we can lend out for those interested in starting or just wanting to see if they wish to start up Judo properly. TheClub has won two "Awards for All" National Lottery grants in getting the club up and running and building up a senior section enabling the club to offer Judo for all levels and all ages.

Malcom Hudson has been running Karate clubs around the West Midlands and Tamworth areas for nearly 30 years and is one of the country's top Shukokai karate instructors. Malcom Hudson is also the ChiefInstructor of the Shukokai Karate Association, a Karate association that was formed in 1991 and has over 20 clubs with hundreds of members around the West Midlands area.

Our Junior Juggernaut classes for 7-12 year olds help to teach your child respect, self esteem and self defence in a very safe and fun environment. Chief Instructor Chris takes the class, he is CRBEnhanced and has over 10 years experience of teaching children and young people.
We at Shuhari Shotokan Karate Academy(SSKA)practice and teach traditional Shotokan Karate following the teachings of Kancho Hirokazu Kanazawa who is a direct student of the founder of karate, MasterGichin Funakoshi. Even though our main focus is on traditional Shotokan karate training, we are also active in sports karate which we believe is part and parcel of the modernization of karate as a martial art.
