My son is suspected to be on the autistic spectrum and his current obsession is uptaking, self-defence classes. Due to his issues, he struggles with controlling his anger and have researched that self-defence could help him. However, we are concerned that he believes that self-defence classes will give him free for all to act out violently, despite advising him the opposite numerous times. He did try karate a few years ago but he simply did not have the attention span to continue it and he was being quite disruptive, so took him out due to not being fair to the other children. Sorry for the long message, however wanted to give you all the circumstances and see there was a trial period or pay as attend you would be happy for him to try? Look forward to hearing from you.
